about ten years ago i went to a phish concert in atlanta over the fourth of july and paid for the entire thing on credit cards and on the way home from atlanta i threw the credit cards out the window because i thought it would be funny. having just checked the mail for the first time in a few days i am somewhat thrilled to see that my credit report is now officially clean. ten years later and a lot of piggybacking off of big al’s sterling credit i am almost like a human being again in the eyes (microprocessors) of the big three credit agencies. i am so excited i think i will go out and consume that fifteen hundred dollar goyard messenger bag that i have been thinking will hopefully make me look more sophisticated than bruce. or maybe i’ll just save it for a rainy day, as i just may have learned the valuable lesson that credit cards and gift certificates are not the same thing.
