from villian to hero…tomorrow’s a big one!

October 8, 2007

i still remember the low feeling in 2004 when damon hit the grand slam in game seven of the alcs. tonight’s home run provided an equal, but very opposite feeling!

i wonder if the ny post will run a headline philip huge tomorrow…

before the storm

October 2, 2007

during a study break tonight i was browsing through myspace and came across an 18 year old who had their ‘child status’ set as “proud parent” and couldn’t help but wonder if at 18, “shamed” or “unlucky” parent wouldn’t be more appropriate. who could be happy about having a child at 18?

after studying i watched the padres/rockies game and concluded that the pretty and well dressed girls (the type one would be inclined to introduce to their mothers) generally sit behind home plate or at the very worst in the first few rows surrounding the infield. as the cameras pan back you start to see the trashier, less healthy looking girls that might be fun for an evening though again the concepts of “shamed” and “unlucky” came to mind. i’d also be curious to see the percentage of jews in the front few rows of playoff games.

it’s good to have a clear head right now…something tells me that thursday around 6:30pm est that will all come to an end.
